Analyst is a software tool that lets users get more real information out of their parcel data. Analyst 10.0, built on ArcGIS 9.3, allows users to quickly locate and identify parcels, view related data, gather useful statistics, and perform calculations on parcel data.

Analyst provides an intuitive interface, and lets users perform the following tasks with minimal GIS training:

• Ability to integrate with CAMA for updating utilizing overlay functions and batch updating features.
• Graphically identify, locate, and display parcels with useful annotation
• Perform simple and complex searches for parcels with specific attributes
• Browse through the list of parcels that satisfy keyword or attribute searches, instantly viewing key attributes of each
• Drill down into the complete data records of individual parcels
• Use Form Builder to create customized data "views"
• Overlay various data layers in the map view to visually represent relationships between parcels and soil maps, flood maps, zoning maps, utility maps, neighborhood boundaries, etc.
• Automatically calculate basic appraisal statistics on the set of parcels that satisfy keyword or attribute searches, visually identifying statistically significant parcels
• Automatically perform calculations such as soil composition
• Pan, zoom, and otherwise manipulate the map display
• View linked images, video clips, scanned deeds, or other documents related to the active parcel.
